The digital classroom for smart students

A big screen (smart board) in front of the students of Assam. In 2023, Assam government will provide smart boards to all government schools to create digital era in Assam. Our Assam government upgrade normal classroom to Digital classrooms for students can understand easily. It is expected that the use of The Smart Board in the classroom will increase the number of students coming to school. This is the technical side of smart class because the Smart Board has provide audio and video content.

Smart Classroom

Education is the key to changing the world. Classrooms are training centers where these mediums can be learned and used in everyday life. Knowledge is the key to successful life. forever. There are plenty of classes to stay comfortable necessary.

Simply put, a classroom is a room surrounded by a positive atmosphere. And it is in this class that students can acquire the necessary knowledge. It is these classes that shape the personality of a student and transform him into a successful productive individual. However, when students try to acquire knowledge by keeping their mind still and concentrated they get bored. It is normal to lose interest in reading. Sometimes reading becomes complicated and boring for students. The Assam government has launched the smart classrooms in schools.

Smart classroom is actually an advanced digital classroom, which attempts to make students efficient in various ways. These classes have been attractively designed to suit the students. These classes are taught using digital learning methods like videos, animations, graphs, images, maps, etc. The quality used here is high quality and attractive. Seeing various experiments and their results in video format makes it easier to understand what you have been reading in books for so long. The benefits of smart classrooms are spreading across the world and this has brought about a unique positive change in the education system.

With this approach the digital classroom in Assam will become easier for teachers to learn information online. You can go a step beyond the old use of blackboard and use any videos, pictures, graphs, etc. to make the lesson more interesting for students available on the internet. Incomprehensible or difficult questions arising in the minds of students. Teachers will be able to explain the subjects very easily with the smart classrooms, long paragraphs are replaced with different types of data, graphs, images or tables. These are easy to remember while making a call. Gradually the students became indifferent towards studies and their interest in studies started increasing.

Smart classrooms are Eco-friendly

There was a time when students had to get rid of long notes or boring books to read. Instead of memorizing, they were able to present the topics through various projects. As a result, students remembered things that they couldn't remember easily. Time was spent well.

Smart class has both advantages and disadvantages

Lack of training makes it difficult for teachers to run such smart classes. So that students can get full benefit of smart class. Having smart classrooms is not enough, it is also important to ensure that students benefit from them.

The Digital Board font colors change frequently. At the touch of a magic pen in the teacher's hand, the lesson content appears in green ink. Sometimes the screen brings complex textbook topics to life through audio-video. Many children are affected.

K-Yan (Launched in 2004)  was the world's first synchronized multimedia device used to train a group. The K-Yan or 'Knowledge Vehicle' is a device designed to combine a full-featured multimedia computer with data projector, TV tuner, audio system and DVD player in a single, easy-to-use portable device. Display'.

K-yan is the key enabling tool in the digital classroom concept. Its modular construction and portability as a standalone device or with optional accessories is adapted to different classroom situations and allows contextual use. K-yan has proven to be one of the most successful solutions for delivering content across various e-learning platforms. Anyone with very little training can easily learn to use K-yan productively as a group-learning tool in the classroom.

It has ultra-bright projection capabilities and is a foldable self-standing screen. Therefore, K-Yan can be used in open spaces. The appliance can be powered by an inverter or car battery or solar power even when there is no electricity. K-Ian can also be moved from one place to another as per the need of the students.

Any new approach seems to be accepted at first, but interest wanes over time.

  • Are classes conducted using specifically appropriate media?
  • Are time and space used wisely?
  • Is the software updated timely?
  • Are the teachers able to teach the students without any difficulty etc.

In many cases, lack of proper training hinders the smooth functioning of smart classes. It has been observed that in many cases teachers do not receive the necessary training, as a result of which students are not able to achieve 100% results from smart classes. Apart from this, without alternative electricity the smart class had to be cut in half. There is also a fear that the smart class system will hamper the thinking power of students. Some people fear that having everything at hand will hinder brain development.

The digital classroom

It has been observed that many villages do not have smart classes but teachers have shown better results than students in smart class rooms. This confirms that it is also important for teachers to explain on the blackboard supporting tools of smart class. Teachers should make arrangements to advance students by using both teaching methods, using smart classes for difficult lessons and other lessons.

Limitations: Although a smart classroom can be run on solar power without electricity, there are some remote areas in Assam where students are desperate for a classroom. There are some places where people suffer from natural disasters during the rainy season. In such circumstances, smart classrooms may have to be stabilized. Without addressing these problems, it will be impossible to produce the smart students we envision from smart classrooms.

Once all these issues are resolved by the Assam government, it is expected that the proliferation of these smart classrooms will disrupt the world of education in the future and usher in a new era.
