Edge Data Center to be Launched in Assam 2024

The data center industry in Assam has been growing in the last two years. Recently many companies have decided to set up data centers in Assam. Many companies have also started the construction process. One such company is Yota Data Services, a data center and cloud service provider under the Heera Nandani Group in Mumbai. The company is preparing to open many data centers in Guwahati as well as in other parts of the country. Under the new plan, the company has decided to invest about Rs 3,000 crore in 2025.

This amount will be invested in data centers and real estate. Heera Nandani Group is involved in real estate sector as well as data center business.

The new 'edge' data center under construction in Guwahati is expected to open this year. According to a report, the data center in Guwahati will be completed and commercially operational by the end of 2024.

The company will open another big data center in Guwahati and Greater Noida this year. This was announced recently by Yota CEO Sunil Gupta. Along with this company, another company called Control S is also working on building another data center in Guwahati. The center is also expected to open soon. Its capacity is about 1,000 racks. The National Data Center also has about 200 server racks in Guwahati.

Will set up another data center with capacity. Many other companies have already announced to set up data centers in Assam.
